Pear Sorbet Recipe

 

Ingredients:

Pears (Peeled, cored and diced)    4 cups (about 6 pears)
Sugar                                               1/3 cup (adjust to taste)

Steps:

1. In a small pot, mash the pears and heat it up on medium high.


2. Stir in the sugar until dissolved.

3. Use a stick blender to blend the mash until smooth.

4. Remove pear puree at once  when bubbles are spotted on the edge of pot.

5. Cool the pear sauce in room temperature, wrap the sauce and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour. 

6. Add the pear sauce into an ice-cream machine for 15-20 minutes, or until it thicken as desired.

7. Wrap the sorbet with plastic wrap, put it in the freezer for at least 1 hour, better overnight.

8. Spoon the sorbet out with a medal spoon, put it in a small bowl and enjoy.
